For more information, e-mail: vox_fem_ucd@yahoo.com Davis Community Gay Men’s Group Davis has a gay men's group whose members get together to see movies, go to plays, have drinks, have pot luck dinners, etc. The name of the group is the Davis Gay Men's Friendship Network (dgmfn). It is not a University group per se but more than half the members have a connection with the campus (as employees, faculty, grad students and a few undergrads). Depending on the activity, anywhere from 2 to 15 people can show up for an event. Within the last month there was a pot luck (15 people attended) and several invitations to see movies in town and in Sacto (from 2-4 attended each). Currently there are only about 25 members in the group, but we are hoping to double that number by next Fall. The group functions through a list serve. If you would like to do something and have other people do it with you, you send a message to the list. If an email you receive sounds like something you would like to do you simply reply to the sender.
